Each with a gentle spirit and special role in your experience
Blossom
Meet Blossom

Birthday: March 10, 2024 | Gotcha Day: August 13, 2024
Blossom is the youngest member of our herd and one of the smallest—but don’t let her size fool you! This little girl is brave, determined, and doesn’t back down from much.
Her name was chosen with purpose. Long before Miniature Moments became reality, I knew in my heart the kind of program I hoped to create someday. The name Blossom just seemed to fit—a sweet reminder of growing, new beginnings, and what can happen when something is given the chance to bloom. ![]()
When Blossom first arrived at the farm, she was the outcast of the herd. But Blossom wasn’t about to give up! Even though she was little, she was determined that the other donkeys were going to accept her. Her bravery and persistence are two of the things I love most about her. Today, she is bonded with Puzzles—the largest donkey in our herd—and the two are best friends. ![]()

Blossom has a sweet, calming demeanor and loves being brushed. She isn’t easily frightened or fazed by new experiences and has already been on a couple of adventures, including going to church with me—and she loved it!
As Blossom continues her training and our farm prepares for future travel, we look forward to the possibility of her joining us for outreach visits in the community. With her gentle spirit, calm nature, and brave little heart, I can’t help but feel that Blossom is blossoming into exactly who she was meant to be. ![]()

Sugar
Meet Sugar

Gotcha Day: June 21, 2019 | Estimated age when she joined our farm: 8 years old
Sugar lives up to her name. She is one of the most affectionate donkeys on the farm and is always looking for a little extra love and attention. If you sit down with her, there’s a good chance she’ll place her head in your lap or give you a soft nudge to remind you she’s ready for some cuddles.
When Sugar arrived at our farm, she had a very special surprise—she was expecting a foal! In March 2020, she gave birth to Hope, and the two have shared a beautiful mother-daughter bond ever since. Watching them together has been one of the greatest blessings on our farm.
Sugar can be a little sassy from time to time, but underneath it all, she has one of the gentlest hearts you’ll ever meet. She is incredibly patient and seems to be at the bottom of the herd’s pecking order, often waiting politely for the others to finish before stepping forward for her treat.
When I need a donkey hug, I know I can count on Sugar. She’s always ready to share her love and
affection with anyone willing to spend a quiet moment with her.
And if you’ve ever met Sugar, you’ve probably noticed one of her funniest habits—she shakes her head…a lot!
Around here, we like to think that’s just Sugar’s way of carrying on a conversation.
Patient, nurturing, affectionate, and full of love—that’s our Sugar.
Puzzles
Meet Puzzles

Gotcha Day: March 29, 2022 | Estimated age when she joined our farm: 2 years old
Puzzles is the only standard-size donkey in our herd—all of her donkey sisters are miniatures! She may be the biggest donkey at Miniature Moments, but Puzzles is very gentle and sweet with people.
Her very best friend is Blossom, the smallest and newest member of our herd. Seeing the two of them together has been fun to witness.
Reminds me of the Movie Twins with Schwarzenegger and DeVito!
Puzzles is curious, mischievous, and always ready to investigate anything new. She’s always food motivated and never turns down a treat! She keeps us laughing with the silly faces she makes, and her bray is just as unique as she is. We say she sounds just like a trumpet trying to sound off…but can’t
quite get there!
And if you really want to win Puzzles over, be ready to give her a good butt scratch. She will happily back herself right up to you to make sure you get the hint!
Gentle, curious, mischievous, and always making us laugh—that’s our Puzzles.
Hope
Meet Hope

Birthday: March 31, 2020 | Born at Miniature Moments at Foster Farm
Hope has a very special place in our hearts because she was born right here on our farm. She arrived during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, when the world felt uncertain, heavy, and full of fear. As we welcomed this Blessing into the world, she reminded us that even in the darkest times, God gives us reasons to hope. That’s exactly how she got her name.
Hope is the daughter of Sugar, and the two share a beautiful bond. She’s definitely a mama’s girl and prefers not to stray too far from Sugars side. While she can be a little timid and occasionally gets spooked, her gentle, easygoing personality shines through in everything she does.
She has a calm, peaceful presence that makes people smile. Although she’s not overly affectionate, there’s just something incredibly sweet about being around Hope. She’s never aggressive and is content to simply go with the flow.
Don’t let her calm nature fool you, though—Hope has a playful side! She loves running and playing chase with the rest of the herd, especially when everyone gets the zoomies.
One of Hope’s most favorite things is being brushed. Bring out a brush, and she’ll happily follow you
just about anywhere for a grooming session!
And here’s one of her funniest little quirks… Hope has what we jokingly call a “foot fascination!”
She’s always checking out everyone’s feet and seems to think they’re the most interesting things around.
Gentle, peaceful, playful, and a beautiful reminder that hope can bloom even in life’s hardest seasons—that’s our Hope.
Gabby
Meet Gabby

Farm Gotcha Day: September 20, 2018
Gabby is our sensitive, emotional girl with a whole lot of spunk! She gets her feelings hurt easily and isn’t afraid to let you know when something has bothered her. But don’t let her sensitive side fool you—Gabby loves kicking up her hooves with the herd and showing off her playful personality. She has a teenager side to her, she can be rebellious at times but mostly that side of her comes out when food is involved!
If you sit quietly with Gabby, you’ll discover her sweet and affectionate side. She loves to rest her head on your shoulder and simply enjoy being close. She also has a funny fascination with hair and can often be found sniffing anyone’s hair who gets close enough!
And then there’s the bray.
Gabby’s voice is truly one of a kind. We like to say she sounds a little
like a dinosaur—or maybe a donkey with a bad case of laryngitis! Once you hear Gabby bray, you’ll never forget it.
Sensitive, spunky, affectionate, and wonderfully unique—that’s our Gabby.
Dolly
Meet Dolly

Gotcha Day: June 21, 2019 | Estimated age when she joined our farm: 4 years old
Dolly is our easygoing, go-with-the-flow girl. She has the most passive personality in the herd and is never one to push her way in for attention. Sometimes Dolly will simply stand back and watch while the others soak up all the love. But bring out the treats and that’s a different story—she may just be one of the first to show up!
Dolly is the best greeter, she has the loudest voice on the farm, which is exactly how she got her name. With a voice like that, what else could we call her but Dolly?

She is social and sweet, and when she’s in the mood, Dolly can be very affectionate. One of my favorite things about her is that she has the absolute best neck to hug. There’s just something comforting
about wrapping your arms around Dolly and loving on her and her big, beautiful brown eyes.
She’s also well known around the farm for her funny faces and silly gestures. Dolly loves to cheese it up and has a way of making us laugh without even trying.
Easygoing, gentle, funny, and sweet—that’s our Dolly.
Together, we can create
more gentle moments
Your support helps us continue our mission of healing and hope through miniature donkey connections.
